How did your love story begin?

Shaun passed the swipe test and kept Alice in limbo for a month, working up the courage to swipe back with the perfect thing to say. Turns out it was “Would you want to go get coffee on Saturday?” From there, Alice’s open personality surprised an inherently shy Shaun to immediately opened up. They drank coffee and laughed as they strolled Draper Utah Historical Park, complete with a cooper shrine to “a gentle” polygamist. “9 kids and gentle? Sshyaaa! Ok…” Polygamy in Utah sure sets the mood.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Shaun and Alice have varied music taste. Shaun’s is, we’ll call it jazzy sophistication, while Alice lives for Britney and 90s pop (Like a true millennial). Justin Timberlake offers the perfect curly haired bridge for both. Shalice giggles and sang the night away in Vegas and thought more mushy meant-to-be I-finally-found-you- thoughts than ever in their lives. Through every perfect and hopefully sober run of “Mirrors,” theyknew there was no way anything, not even JT, could ruin the world tour.

What would you do with $20,000?

Shalice has their fair share of childhood trauma. Addressing attachment issues AND waiting for the right partner takes time. But Shaun and Alice wouldn’t have done it any differently. They’ve found what everyone dreams about. Unfortunately, at 38, Alice’s biology doesn’t offer the luxury to spend too much time in a state of “DINKage.” But modern science does! With $20k, Shaun and Alice can ensure that the hope of doing parenthood the right way is on ice until the time is right.
