We’ve been together since we were 15. Our love began when we met while I was walking my dog. At 21, I got pregnant, and we were living in an efficiency apartment, sleeping on a twin mattress on the floor. We knew what it was like to have nothing, but we worked hard so our children never would. Through struggles, sacrifice, and love, we built a life together. We are proof that real love can grow through anything.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are too many great memories but One of my favorite memories is the birth of each of our children. Each one changed his life forever and brought us closer together. Those moments were filled with love, joy, and purpose. Becoming parents changed us, strengthened our bond, and gave deeper meaning to our journey as a couple.
What would you do with $20,000?Four years ago, my husband was shot and nearly died, but our son saved his life. He underwent six surgeries and 3 years of recovery, while we faced emotional and financial hardship. I stood by him through every moment. He’s now fully healed, and our love is stronger than ever. Winning America’s Favorite Couple would help us pay off debt and finally celebrate the miracle we survived—proof that true love endures even life’s hardest trials.
