We both come from broken relationships, but God had been orchestrating our story all along. We met on a dating app despite the fact that we lived only 7 blocks apart and I was teaching Scott's kids in school. We found ourselves playing guitar and singing in his living room well into the morning hours after our first date. From the moment I threw in harmonies on "Every Rose Has It's Thorn", we knew we would make beautiful music together for years to come.

Our journey to sell everything to simplify life and move off-grid to the Ozark Mountains has by far been our best memory. We set off "destination unknown" in our camper to find the perfect property. We were led to a small town in Arkansas where we have built an off-grid homestead (doing 99% of the work ourselves). We built two tiny cabins we AirBnb for income so that we can work from home and be self-sustaining which allows us time to help God's people and minister others when we are needed.

We have been building cabins and a workshop for a local campground and have taken on another construction job so that we can afford to build our house while remaining debt free. We have some awesome custom ideas for our 884 sqft home we plan to build. We would use the $20,000 to make those ideas come to life and allow us to finally move into a house vs. the office space we are currently living in. We are not complaining, but would love to have a real kitchen and a recliner again. :-)
