How did your love story begin?

As introverts, in an event incredibly out of character for us, we separately decided to venture to a pop punk themed night in Pittsburgh's South Side in February 2017, with friends. Thanks to those friends, we met that night. With the nudge of a few pop punk hits, we found each other in the crowded bar and screamed a few melodies together. After talking more, we realized we had already been going to the same concerts for years, so it only made sense to go to a few more.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In 2023, we planned a trip around seeing The All-American Rejects, The Starting Line, New Found Glory, and The Get Up Kids in Boston. While there, we also planned a day in Salem, which ended up being the highlight of our visit. We spent the day learning more about the history of the Witch Trials, visiting museums, movie locations, and finally ending the evening with a ghost tour, where by the end of the night, we both looked at each other and in unison said, "I could see us moving here."

What would you do with $20,000?

After budgeting for our Friday the 13th wedding in 2024, we are now trying to save for a home. If we win, we'd put a down payment on our first house, adopt some rescue dogs, and take the next step in life together. We'd maybe even be able to take our honeymoon trip to Japan and visit Disneyland. Also, having SEGA’s Crazy Taxi arcade machine at our wedding to showcase the first video game we bonded over, we'd love to explore the arcades and gaming culture in cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
