We met in Wausau, Wi through our church. We met at a church party and were fast friends. Scooter asked me( sunny) out 3 months later. I gently turned him down at the time because I was entering college for sign language interpreting. We stayed close friends. About 2 years later we met up at another party at a friend's house. We were sitting on the couch together watching a movie. I accidentally fell asleep on scooter's shoulder and the rest is history! We were married 4 years later in 2020 <3
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we were dating, my parents, some family friends,Scooter and I went on a road trip to the ark encounter in ARK. He and I were seated in the back seat of the van for most of the trip. Scooter has TAR syndrome so he has only hands connected to his shoulders. We were snuggling and one of my long hairs got in his mouth. He couldn't get it out himself so without even thinking, I grabbed the end of his tongue and took the hair off. Then realizing what I did wecollapsed into tear, rolling laughter!
What would you do with $20,000?Being that scooter is disabled and our son Toby has autism we would use the money to make our home more accessible and comfortable for our family to thrive! It would be a wonderful blessing to us<3
