In 2020, while the world paused, we were each looking for a spark. One swipe led to a first date night at Cheesecake Factory—masked, cautious, hopeful. Afterwards we drove through quiet streets. She spoke of a future with five kids, three dogs, and a home full of light. I quietly listened, recognizing the rare opportunity. That night wasn't just a date—it was a declaration: we were in this together, pandemic and all. We weren't just surviving; we were building.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On June 19, 2025, we stood in the glowing lights of Stade de France in Paris, watching Beyoncé perform "16 Carriages." Just five weeks earlier, Sashi was let go from her job. Instead of falling, she fought: saved every travel point, sacrificed comfort—until that trip became ours. That night, under Parisian skies, in the roar of a crowd and the voice of a queen B, we celebrated more than a concert. We celebrated grit, belief, and the power of a shared dream realized.

What would you do with $20,000?

There's the fiscally responsible answer—pay off our credit card debt—the impulsive answer—take a trip that's fully paid for—and the forward-thinking answer—put it aside for our future kids. The real answer is a combination of all three. We would plan to invest in ourselves while also investing in our family down the road. We know this money would help lift a big financial burden off our shoulders and would be forever grateful to be selected as America's Favorite Couple.
