How did your love story begin?

We met on a hike in the white mountains of New Hampshire. My colleague, Jackie, asked me and my friend to come with her on the hike. Jackie’s Boyfriend also came and brought his friend and co worker, Ryan. We all arrived at the Welch Dickey loop in Thornton NH. A 4.7 mile trail that goes up and down two mountains. As the hike went on I found myself with Ryan, as we held a faster pace and started talking, about everything. We were connected immediately. I had never met anyone like him before.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Ryan was in the Airforce National Guard when we met and was to be deployed in the Middle East for 6 months. After 4 months of dating and falling for Ryan, of course I was going to wait for him to finish his deployment and come back home. I didn’t tell him at the time, but I loved him. While deployed, I drove to his parent’s house, to pick up his black lab so I could spend the weekends with his dog. My time with Steyr and FaceTiming Ryan on my hikes with his dog were my first favorite memories.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 we will be able to buy a bigger boat. We could only afford a small aluminum 12ft tracker boat for now. We take it to the surrounding lakes. We have been saving up for a Center Console boat so we can use it in the ocean. We love to go deep sea fishing. Our dogs also love being on the boat with us. Being out on the water is our happy place. We want to take our family and friends on fishing trips and enjoy the sand bars with our fury friends.
