We met on a cruise ship while working as entertainers. Sarah was a dancer in the production cast, and Mat was a cast member with The Second City. We vowed to keep things casual but shared some amazing experiences. We chased each other around the world a bit before settling in Chicago, then later Los Angeles.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve been fortunate to have a lot of great experiences, but our green card interview with US Customs was very entertaining. The kind agent asked how we met, and Sarah recited our entire relationship history in under 90 seconds, and in one breath. The agent put his pen down halfway through, and wrapped up the interview with no follow up questions.
What would you do with $20,000?We would save for our future. It would get us that much closer to buying a home.
