Colin and I were members of a chat group on Facebook. One day, Colin private messaged me after I had posted a request for prayer; my divorce was taking a toll on me. Colin was very supportive and soon became my best friend. He was going through the same thing with his divorce. We commiserated and comforted each other even with a 5 hour time difference (he lived in Ireland). In 2022, he came to the US and stopped to visit me. That weekend changed our lives forever
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is the first time Colin and I got together after a year's friendship online. It was a magical night where we strolled along Tampa Bay and then sat and talked for hours. Our hearts and souls connected as we cried and laughed. Then, he kissed me on the forehead.
What would you do with $20,000?If we had the resources, I would help pay for Colin's expenses in applying for his board certification exams. Thus, enabling him to secure his license to practice in his field in Florida, bridging the distance and uniting us at last.
