Connect How did your love story begin?

Jesse and I met at a rock show that my band’s drummer organized in July 2022. His brother’s band was invited to headline and he just happened to be filling in on vocals and guitar after their guitarist got sick. I had never approached a man before, but I decided to go over and introduce myself after sound check. I was initially scared but my friend and bandmate Shannon pushed me to introduce myself and the rest is history! We hit it off right there and then and haven't been apart since!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Jesse moved out to Oregon for a job during our first year dating and we got invited to stay at his housemate’s cabin for the weekend. He recommended some hot springs nearby for us to visit and we followed the directions he gave us scribbled on a napkin. It was quite the adventure! We hiked through the forest and crossed a stream to get to the hot springs nestled on the side of a hidden road. We made many friends and spent the night soaking while watching the stars shoot across the sky.

What would you do with $20,000?

If Jesse and I were to win $20,000 we would put it towards our dream camper van so that we can make more magical memories traveling cross country! Our dream is to practice travel Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy so that we can see the natural beauty that the US has to offer while befriending and healing people from all over the US!
