We met at a grocery store—I was the receiver, he was the bread man. I fell for his eyes and how he talked about his son. I had a baby girl, and neither of us was looking for love. We dated just 3.5 months before getting married. Over 30 years later, we’ve raised 3 kids, have 11 grandbabies, ran a restaurant, and now travel and work at campgrounds. People ask how we never fight—we just love being together. We are each other's best friend and love each more than we thought possible.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many amazing memories but starting our new adventure in life together with our first trip as full-time travelers, we went to Yellowstone National Park. Never thought we would travel like we do. We both love nature and animals and we saw so many on that trip. It was the beginning of our new life after all the kids were gone and just enjoying the rest of our time together.
What would you do with $20,000?We have been wanting to get a bigger camper for traveling and just started saving. So we would definitely use the money to upgrade to give us some more room.
