We would like to thank you for supporting Samuel and Samantha in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met at church, trying to grow our faith. We bonded over our shared name and similar life experiences. We shared testimonies and goals for life which made us realize we had a lot in common. After spending the next few months together we learned more about each other and solidified our relationship on St. Patrick’s day! How lucky and blessed are we.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory would have to be our first vacation together. We went to Orlando, Florida to celebrate my 20th birthday and Samuel got me DisneyWorld tickets. It was both of our first times going after years and years of wanting to go. At the end of an extremely fun day we got to enjoy the Disney fireworks together. After a hard year for us both, it was so beautiful and healing to be somewhere we’ve always wanted to go, with each other, sharing so much love.
What would you do with $20,000?We are planning to get engaged soon and planning a wedding within this year. I’ll be student teaching trying to get my early childhood degree so having 20,000 would be so amazing to help us get through this year when I can’t work a lot with having to focus on school. We’d be able to not stress as much and have the wedding of our dreams next May!
