Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began our freshman year of college. We met through a mutual who was in a relationship, but had claimed Samuel as her man incase she got broken up with. We bonded over music, food, family, morals, and how crazy it was to call "dibs" on a person while you were in a relationship. Our first unofficial date was to a Chinese restaurant right next to our campus. I had already eaten dinner, but something told me to go when he invited me. We were there for 3 hours and we both fell in love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our best memories is from Valentine's Day. I wanted to do something special, so I spent weeks working on a scrapbook with pictures, objects from dates, song QR codes, drawings, and a bad photo of him at the end. The day of our anniversary came, and we exchanged presents. I gave him my scrapbook first, and before he even looked through it, he started laughing. He handed me my present, and wouldn't you know, he also got me a scrap book with song QR codes and a bad photo of me at the end!

What would you do with $20,000?

Samuel and I would definitely save most of the money for a future home. We have a dream to live on Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh with a beautiful view of the city. We would also love to be able to give back to our families for everything they have done for us. For our chosen family, we would love to take them all out to a nice dinner and cover the bill!
