How did your love story begin?

About five years ago, I was a night shift nurse on a stroke floor and Sam worked full time for an HVAC company. We both loved our jobs and were really not looking for a relationship, though our friends had other ideas. The first day we met, we knew it was a set up and I actually did not interact with Sam at all. I instead played with his dogs and left there saying "well I'll never see that guy again." Two months later we were inseparable and knew we'd always be in each others lives.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

After our wedding reception was done and dancing started, Sam and I stepped out onto the lawn to admire the mountain scape and just have a moment for ourselves. At that moment La Vie En Rose was playing and we started dancing on the lawn, talking about the day and just being together. As Sam turned me for a spin we saw all of our guests lined up with phones watching us. To this day we still laugh and are so happy we have such a beautiful moment captured.

What would you do with $20,000?

Recently I became a travel nurse and we have decided to take this opportunity and go on the road with each job. If we had $20,000, we would use this money to buy a camper to be our home for the next couple of years. Before I take my next assignment though, we are planning to do a cross country trip to Alaska. Sam and I (and our pup Boone of course), are so excited to begin this next chapter in our life and get outside of our comfort zone!
