We both had Hinge dates later that week that we were both more excited for. That quickly shifted when we met and had conversations that flowed like two good friends catching up after a long time apart. And our first kiss… hopefully the fire department wasn’t called. By the end of the night we had our second date planned and the rest is history… with many more chapters to come.

There are many choices - our trip to Florida together, our first time on the Roosevelt Island tram, seeing Metallica together … but the obvious choice is our Mother’s Day dinner with both of our families all together. Despite having different upbringings, lifestyles and even dining preferences, we had a beautiful meal that celebrated both of our mothers while showing us that as long as we had our love and each other, the rest just always somehow falls into place in a beautiful way.

A few things - save a bit for down the road, improve our quality of life here in New York (perhaps some concerts/shows/meals), maybe a trip, and definitely put some into our wedding night/weekend - that weekend will be a celebration of our love and families and we truly want it to be an unforgettable time not just for ourselves but all who we’ll be fortunate enough to share it with.
