Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on November 1st, 2019. Sallie was hosting a Halloween party at her college house. I was convinced by friends to go because I had a hangover at 8pm. Thank God I went. This is the night that changed the trajectory of our lives forever. I was introduced to the host of the party and I was instantly enamored with her beauty and wit. That night we spent hanging out and getting to know each other and since that day, there has not been a single day we have not talked to each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

June 8, 2024, was our wedding day. the whole day was an amazing memory, but one part sticks out. We agreed to engrave the others ring, and not tell. When we sat down for dinner we looked to see what the other put. As we started to read, I started to cry. I engraved her ring saying “Best Friends :)” and my ring read “Best Friends SM&SH” I will cherish that forever. We also found out this year that June 8 is National best friends day. I will forever get to carry this memory on my finger.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use this money for a down payment towards our first home. This is something we have always dreamed about and would love to make a reality for us and our dog. We would also use a a little of it to pay for a second honeymoon trip since the first was so fun!! We will also want to use some of it for dog rescues. ADOPT DON’T SHOP
