We met through his family member dating one of mine long before we did. He also worked with my mom and would flirt when I’d stop by, but I wasn’t ready then. Years later, after a tough breakup, I went out with my cousin and he was bartending. He made me laugh so hard that night. That lead to sweet texts, first date, and our first kiss, which gave me butterflies for the first time, I felt something real.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many favorite memories, but one that always sticks out is early on, he picked me up after work to go to his house, then suddenly pulled over. I thought he forgot something, but he leaned over, kissed me, and said he just couldn’t wait until we got home to kiss me. That one moment, so simple yet full of love, made me feel truly wanted and I’ll never forget it.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use the $20K to finish paying off our fertility treatments, our dream of becoming parents came before a wedding. Now, after 17 years together, it feels like the perfect time to finally tie the knot and celebrate the love that’s carried us through it all. “We chose IVF before ‘I do.’ Now we’re just hoping love carries us across the finish line.”
