Mike and I were best friends as first and second graders. We reconnected after 30 years and got married on Valentine's Day!
We would like to thank you for supporting Sabryna & Mike in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Mike will tell you he knew he loved me when we were in first grade. I saw a photo of him wearing orange crocs with carrots on them captioned "Don't you wish your boyfriend was hot like me?" and I couldn't resist reaching out to remind him I had a huge crush on him when we were little and that only he could make those look good. He replied he still had a crush on me. It was pretty inevitable from there.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We were living 500 miles away from each other. He came up to visit, and we spent a whole day driving up into the mountains stopping to browse antique stores, enjoying the scenery and for Mike to hug trees of course. It felt like the real world wasn't even there anymore and it was just us. That day is still a very favorite.
What would you do with $20,000?Buy a house. Our little two-bedroom apartment is awesome, but we'd love to have space for our art and music with bedrooms for each of Mike's kids when they're with us and a guest room for my boys when they visit.
