How did your love story begin?

Our love story started unexpectedly in a restaurant where we both worked as waitresses. Fresh out of toxic relationships, neither of us were looking for love. We tried to resist the pull, but late-night talks and laughter kept drawing us back. It was like the universe kept pushing us together, despite our hesitations. The restaurant was our place where we slowly, inevitably, fell in love. It turns out, sometimes the best love stories begin when you least expect them.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory as a couple is when I walked into my room and saw rose petals, candles, balloons, and a bunch of gifts all set up. I had no idea what was going on until she popped out—she had driven three hours just to surprise me. Then she asked me out, right there in the middle of everything. It was the most thoughtful and romantic thing anyone’s ever done for me. I felt so loved and special in that moment, and I’ll always remember it.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would put a down payment on our first home. As a college student working to become a teacher, I don’t make much, so this would be a huge step toward stability for us. It would give us a place to call our own, where we can grow together, make memories, and build a future. This money would be the foundation for a life we’ve been dreaming about, filled with love, security, and new beginnings.
