Each of us had multiple tragic past marriages and had all but given up on love. Then a chance meeting while getting gas turned into love.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ryan & Mae in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I am a retired Fire Captain that became a Realtor. She was an ER Nurse who is normally shy. But for some reason while we were both getting gas opposite each other, she noticed my Firefighter license plate and asked why my phone number was on my car, not realizing it was for my Real Estate business. I told her I would love to tell her but I was done getting gas, but if she wanted to get coffee at the gas station Starbucks I would. To my surprise she came into take me up on coffee!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? That first meeting that we didn't want to end. Coffee turned into lunch. Lunch turned into a walk. That turned into dinner and dinner turned into cocktails and before we knew it an unplanned chance meeting became a perfect 6 hour date. We each went our separate ways that night not wanting to ruin anything, but never stopped talking or thinking about the other and have been together every day since then.
What would you do with $20,000?Help pay for our planned vacation (a Disney Cruise and beach stay) with all our kids (Mae has 3, Ryan has 1) and save for the following year's family vacation!
