We knew each other in high school! And I did not like him at all, borderline hated him! But after high school and midway through college we were reconnected through a friend, he handed me a Baja blast and I was instantly infatuated. I knew I wanted to date him but he seemed nervous, so I was persistent, and put on my big girl pants and made the first move.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s so hard to pick, every second with him is cherished, but I’d say a month into dating he asked me on a date and surprised me with a beautiful picnic! He made all the food and took me to a beautiful park in Chicago, he brought paint and canvas. It made me feel so loved and listened to, at that moment I knew I never wanted to let this man out of my life.
What would you do with $20,000?My boyfriend and I are just getting our life together, I go to Columbia Chicago as a journalism major and he’s in marketing, money is unfortunately tight now that we are moving to a new apartment. I’d put this money to our future, taking care of our kitties Mina and Mazie, getting my boyfriend a car that actually works, and just allowing us to live comfortably for a bit. And maybe as a treat since our anniversary is coming up, go to a nice restaurant. He does so much for me, and I want to help.
