We matched on bumble and he was 2 hours late to pick me up because he wanted to pick me up in the car he’d been working on that meant a lot to him. We drank gin and soda by the bay, talked for 5-6 hours, saw a shooting star, and went to his friends 30th birthday party at a strip club. Luckily I was wearing my strip club attire under my sweatshirt in case he invited me. He asked if he could kiss me while at the water so our first kiss wasn’t at a strip club :).
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to pick just one… but a couple months into dating I was flying to give a lecture in Switzerland and it happened to be on his 30th birthday. He joined and I skipped most the conference to go sledding in Zermatt. The 12 hour layover in Portugal I was dreading ended up being the most fun nights of our life.. from the plane to the streets of Lisbon to an hour of sleep in the hotel to the most beautiful breakfast buffet complete with champagne and barely caught the 15 hour flight home.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put in towards our first house so we can start to build our lives together. I just finished my residency program and we’re starting to move in together.
