Through the written word. We were both on Cancercare.com forum in 2012 because our spouses had Stage IV lung cancer. He was in Michigan, I in Arizona. In 2018 they passed within 2 months of each other. He flew to Arizona to meet me. Although he is 13 years younger, our broken hearts came together and mended. I actually had a total heart block during my late husband's battle, and my Cardiologist said Timothy healed it. We married in 2021 and are living a dream.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Him walking to my front door in 2019 and hearing each other's voice for the first time. Very surreal. We had met in 2012 and never, ever spoke to each other.
What would you do with $20,000?Take a fabulous honeymoon...belated, to Hawaii!
