We ran into each other at a small house party and immediately recognized each other from work 4 years before. We were now young adults and exchanged numbers. VERY soon afterwards we had our first date. We went to the movies and watched Terminator II in 1991. We had a great time together. Al had set up a picnic prior to the movies; we had the best time. Very romantic. We continued to date and really enjoyed each others company. We moved in together a year later and started our family.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When our youngest child out of four children started high school, we stopped coaching sports and ended up with a lot of free time...and I me A LOT of free time, if you know what I mean. We decided, after owning three Suburbans, that we would buy a small two-seater roadster since we had no need to lug around kids and sports equipment. When we drove it off the lot we felt so guilty! As if we had abandoned our parental duties. But once we floored that little car and hit the canyon, we had a blast!
What would you do with $20,000?We would travel! No kids, no grandkids, no mother in law, who we care for, of course, and explore places outside of our great country and really embrace ourselves as the soulmates we are!
