The summer of 1988. Dave drove down the street from his dad’s house, on Rose Ave. He stopped to let me cross and said, -“Hello”. It was love at first sight. What he did not know was that before I met him, I prayed to God to send me my future husband. I wanted a man who was also a believer. Someone who would be kind, loving, and faithful to God and to me. We got engaged July 1989, he went to the Navy August and we married in December. Our twins born in February 1990.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our twins because they were born on the day Mike Tyson lost his first boxing match to Buster Douglas. Dave was in A-School for aviation electrician in Tennessee. The twins were extracted via C-Section and I was under heavy anesthesia. The drs were not sure if I would wake up. A Red Cross message had to be sent to my husband’s command.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off our youngest son’s college parent plus loan.
