Our story began with an emergency landing and a single question at O’Hare in 2008. No names, no numbers—just a moment. A year later, fate reunited us in Memphis. We didn’t realize we’d met before… until one night, a shared travel tale revealed I was the girl from that flight. We’ve been inseparable since—now married with two kids and building our dream home. Love didn’t strike fast—it found us, quietly, perfectly, when the time was right.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is the moment we realized we’d met before—during a terrifying emergency landing a year before we started dating. A single story unlocked a forgotten connection, and suddenly, everything made sense. Fate had written our love long before we knew it. That moment wasn’t just serendipity—it was proof that we were always meant to find each other, no matter the time, distance, or detours.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we’d finally bring our whole family to Vietnam—a dream shared by us and my parents for years. They’ve longed to show their grandchildren where their story began, to pass down language, culture, and the feeling of home. As nonprofit workers, it’s been hard to make that happen. This trip would be more than a vacation—it would be a bridge between generations, a gift of belonging, and a hope fulfilled for our family’s future.
