How did your love story begin?

We met out at a beautiful local restaurant. I saw her from across the room and was immediately enamored. We fell in love quickly and 5 years later, we never spend time apart. She's incredible. To be honest, we were both in our 40's when we met and we had felt like maybe our chance at real love had passed us by. We had both been burned by past relationships, and were separately feeling like... maybe it was too late to find the right person? Of course it's never too late! Now we know. :)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our roadtrip in our camper van up the coast to the Pacific Northwest was just stunning, romantic, and full of laughs & hope & love. Also, this might sound odd... but I would also add the times we've experienced loss & hardship, those times have made us stronger. 3 months into dating my senior dog-soulmate passed away. The following year my father passed unexpectedly. And a few weeks after our small wedding Dana had a lumpectomy for a pre-cancerous growth. Through all of this, we grew in love.

What would you do with $20,000?

Go on our long overdue honeymoon to Ireland & the Uk & Scotland. And we'd like to donate some to animal organizations that we love and support.
