Robert and I met ten years ago at work. His heart for helping others drew me in, but his love for his family and the way he cares for everyone made me fall in love. When he lost his parents during COVID, we held each other through the pain and it brought us even closer. Our love is built on quiet moments, daily acts of kindness, and choosing each other every single day. He is my best friend and my favorite story.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is Robert’s first real birthday party. He had never celebrated before, so my family and I surprised him. Seeing him surrounded by love showed us we never wanted to be apart. That day he knew my family was his too, even when he felt alone. It reminded us that love makes a family and that we are each other’s home, no matter what life brings. It is a memory we hold close to our hearts every single day.
What would you do with $20,000?If we received the $20,000, we would use part of it to help rebuild Robert’s parents’ house, a place that holds so much love and family history. We would also use it to have a beautiful church ceremony surrounded by our loved ones, celebrating our story and everyone who has been part of it.
