High school sweethearts reconnected after 30 plus years apart
We would like to thank you for supporting Robert and Karen in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
He got down on his knee in my gravel driveway and begged me to go to homecoming with him. When he left to join the Marines, we did the long distance thing. Even though my family moved states away. Eventually we lost contact with each other. Facebook reconnected us years down the line. We talked over the years. One of us always married. That is until my recent divorce and now only living one state away. We decided to meet up for the first time in 32 years. One hug is all needed, he is my home!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Meeting each other's kids. He has a daughter that looks like him and I have a son that looks like me. I like that we all can get along. I feel like that is not something thing everyone has.
What would you do with $20,000?That money would be very helpful in buying a house for us as a family. Starting over and moving states is rough.
