We met in 1999 on a blind date set up by friends. The plan was a movie and dinner, but we spent the whole time talking and laughing, totally ignoring the plot. Instant sparks, zero focus. We had to rewatch the movie years later just to see what we missed, but we both knew we’d found something unforgettable that night.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our most cherished memories is the time we spontaneously road-tripped to the Florida Keys. No plans—just a “Let’s go!” moment, with his mom watching our son and the open road ahead. We had the most incredible time just being together. After years of struggling to grow our family, we had accepted having one child. But life had other plans—because we came home from that trip with the greatest surprise of all. We were pregnant. A true blessing born from love and adventure
What would you do with $20,000?We’d celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with the trip we’ve always dreamed of, marking a milestone built on love, laughter, and loyalty. But we’d also pay it forward. I work with a nonprofit that helps aging adults live with dignity, and we’d be honored to donate a portion of the prize to support that mission.
