We fight, we show off our ugly sides to each other but at the end, we still work it out because I love him and he loves me too.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
My husband and I first met in grade school. He knew me as the nerdy girl and I only saw him in passing. I didn’t think about him until I met him more than 10 years later. He told me how he knew me from back then and just started liking all of my posts on Friendster and then Facebook. We chatted in Skype and Yahoo Messenger and then on Facebook Messenger. We talked and talked until I decided to make a move and made a long distance call to him and told him how I love him.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I remembered when my husband and I first met. We’ve been dating online for almost a year since we met again from our grade school days. We decided to bring along my 2 yr old daughter (I was a single mom) and I can still remember the light on my daughter’s eyes when she realized she also had a dad. We still recall that day and we still laugh because he was so nervous meeting my daughter and making a good first impression and coming out being the best dad for my daughter.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off our debts. My husband lost his job recently when he decided to quit after being discriminated and racially profiled at his work. So right now, only I am the one working and providing. We’ll definitely pay off our utility bills and buy groceries because we have 5 kids (aged 15, 9, 6, 3 and 9 months) and we’re doing our best to feed them. We’ll also try to bring our kids to a hotel even if it’s just overnight. And we’ll probably set aside a small amount for a rainy day.
