How did your love story begin?

I was 19, about to drop out of school for my first IATSE gig. She was 23 and studying to be a teacher. We met blowing up balloons at a birthday party. She drove me to union interviews and jobs. We moved in together in 2016, but our lives weren’t aligned yet and we broke up in 2017. We reconnected as friends in 2019, started dating again in 2022—and now we’re closing on a home together, building the future we once only imagined.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When we finally decided we wanted to get back together, we just talked—no distractions, no performance—just us, aligned for the first time in years. It felt like returning to something we never stopped believing in. That night, without trying to force it, everything clicked. We knew the love had never left. That quiet moment became the starting point of everything we’re building now—fully, intentionally, together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use $20,000 to finish setting up our home and invest in the creative work we’ve already begun. Our goal is to build a life that feels like us—intentional, grounded, and full of meaning. From writing to design to creating spaces for others, everything we do is rooted in care. We know life will throw things our way, but with a solid foundation and each other, we’ll be able to take on anything.
