I was 12. I saw him sitting in the back row of the youth group van with long slick back hair. My heart got calm like I’ve known him my whole life and I knew he was going to be someone important in my life. He moved to a different part of town a few months later. I didn’t see for many years. When I turned 16, I went in to drop off a job application at KFC. Long behold, there he was! We became friends. A year later, he became my boyfriend, 6 years after that, married. He’s my best friend.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory was talking all night at the beach until the sun came up. Just talking. It was so easy with Ricardo.
What would you do with $20,000?We are going into our 25th anniversary together in 2026. We would like to put it toward a down payment for a little home. Something we can call ours.
