Rico has been my best friend since I was 13 and five years ago we decided living on separate coasts wouldn’t stop us from being together.

Our love story began in an AOL chat room for people who liked cars back in the days of dial-up internet. Rico has always been into cars and we initially became friends talking about my 1986 Caballero. We became best friends and our feelings were romantic but we lived on different coasts which meant for many years having a close friendship as far as we could go.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory with Rico was the first time I came to visit him in Pittsburgh. He planned out the whole trip but my favorite thing was him driving me around and telling me stories about memories he had at different places and the history of the city. I was in a beautiful city with the most amazing man I know.
What would you do with $20,000?Rico and I would likely take a honeymoon with the money and fix up our house with the remainder. We got married during the pandemic and weren’t able to take a honeymoon as a result.
