Connect How did your love story begin?

It all began online through AOL chat only to find out that the two of us worked in the same company and never knew it until then. Go figure, we were in the same building, different floors and never had a clue. After many conversations we decided to meet in person at work. I then found out he was much older than I was and hesitant that we were too far apart in age to possibly be compatible, but I was wrong, so very wrong. I was 35 and he was 50 and here we are 25 years later still in love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Have you heard of the song You Had Me From Hello? When we first met and locked eyes that is exactly what happened between the two of us. He is the romantic and I was a pessimist after having gotten out of an abusive marriage prior to meeting him I wasn't really looking for a relationship. Rick was ready to get married two months after we met but I was scared to death and he worked so hard to break my walls down even though I was smitten from the get-go and he was so sweet and patient with me.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would like to re-new our wedding vows in a small ceremony and then take have a destination honeymoon as we never got to have one after we were married. Even after all these years a honeymoon was not in the cards for us, so this is what we'd do with 20,000, have a romantic get-a-way.
