Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on Facebook—me grieving my wife and doing therapy,her fresh out of a breakup. I pursued her, and she made me work for it. But through deep talks, brutal honesty, and emotional wreckage, we built something real. Now we adventure, laugh, and say the hard stuff even when it hurts. We didn’t expect to find each other, but somehow in the middle of our mess, we did—and it’s been real ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory? An early San Diego trip. We had a nice Italian dinner, went out for drinks—and watched a bar fight break out right in front of us. Total chaos. Then we went back to the Airbnb, had some drinks, and ended up talking until 5 AM. We barely slept, grabbed brunch the next morning, and just talked the whole way home. That night, we dropped our guards, opened up, and really saw each other. That’s when everything started to feel real.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d have the wedding we’ve dreamed of—something simple but full of love, surrounded by the people who’ve supported us. The rest would go toward building our future together, helping us buy a home to create new memories and build a life that reflects everything we’ve been through and everything we’re becoming. It wouldn’t just be money—it’d be the start of our next chapter.
