This one is crazy. I taught Richie forever ago and have kept in touch, as I have done with many, many previous students. Let me be clear, there was never a thought when I was his teacher. Move ahead 30 years and we were going through rough marriages that were similar and found comfort in knowing we weren’t alone. After his wife left and my husband passed we began hanging out as friends and it eventually blossomed into this beautiful relationship that neither one of us ever dreamed we could have.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first trip to Helen, GA. It was the first time we could be totally free as a couple. We would sit by the river on a bench at night and talk for hours about our dreams, what each other needs, and plan a future
What would you do with $20,000?We would fix up one house to sell so we could move into the other so we waste no more time apart. We just lost his 19 year old son and realize more than ever how precious time is and we want to live it together.
