Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at one of the hardest times in our life and both ended up in the same treatment facility battling addiction. We firmly believe God put us there so we could get to each other. We started running into each other at meetings after we left treatment, and eventually coffee afterwards became a regular thing. Our coffee dates were the best. We got to experience what happiness felt like again with each other and decided we wanted to do all of those memories together. Here we are 6 years later!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There's so many! Our coffee dates, our car rides with deep discussion, our first cruise....but our favorite memory was having our son. The love changed....we fell even deeper in love with each other and experienced a new love together for our son. Coming from addiction, we felt at one time we would never have anything, and went to having more than we could have ever imagined. And its so much brighter than we ever knew it would be. Every day we create new favorite memories. We live our lives!

What would you do with $20,000?

Our family is starting to outgrow our little condo that we are so grateful to have called home, but we are starting to dream big, and would like to put a down payment on our first little home in a quiet neighborhood with a backyard our son can play in. We want to nurture the relationships we have rebuilt so would love to have a space to invite our family and friends to celebrate all of the little and big things in life.
