Connect How did your love story begin?

We first met when we began working together at a local coffee shop. I had seen her on social media before and always wondered what if. The first day working with her I knew it was my chance so I started a conversation about her boots. I asked for her socials and began finding any excuse to start a text with her. After a couple weeks we finally hung out and at the end of the night she threw a popsicle at me. Later I opened it and inside it said “sorry it melted, I like you <3”.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is the day we got engaged. I had been planning it for so long. I was terrified but I got her dad’s blessing and took her to West Virginia for our 3 year anniversary, her favorite place in the world. I took her to this specific waterfall tucked back off the road that we’d swam at so many times last summer. She always said it felt surreal. I read her a poem about how nature claims all eventually and how her love claimed me all until we passed. She cried for the rest of the day

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use what we need to fix up my dad’s old house for us to live in when we get married. We would also put some into a joint savings fund for future bills or emergency situations. The rest we would donate to various charities because we have both seen suffering and like to help people whenever we can, especially local and over seas
