Connect How did your love story begin?

Renee had escaped her wild life growing up in Las Vegas and was living in a motorhome traveling around the country. It broke down in a tiny town in northern MN. She got a waitressing job at a lakeside resort so she could make the repairs and keep cruising. The night before starting the job she saw a gorgeous guy sitting alone in a diner writing. She dreamt of him all night. During orientation, the next day she discovered her dream man was the chef, cooking up the food she would be serving.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When our first daughter's head popped out of the womb, the rest of her body still inside of Renee, she bit the doctor! It sounds cliche but staring at this actual human of our mixed DNA was through the roof wild. When we left the hospital we looked back and thought, seriously, the staff is letting us walk out with this tiny being? We have no clue how to raise a child...said every first time parent...We now have 4 badass adult daughters who continually give us hope.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money to create a proof of concept trailer for a script titled, "The Graveyard Girl", written by Jamie . The story is a ghost story/mystery based on the rare (becoming less so) autoimmune disease, anti NMDA Receptor Encephalitis. Our 3rd daughter, Merciful Rain, contracted the disease in 2019. The film will be shot on Hawaii Island, where we live. We have a formidable, experienced, local crew, epic locations, and all the know-how to make this happen.
