I’ve known my husband pretty much my whole life. I grew up on the same block as his cousins, so we were around each other from a young age. I was about 8, so he was 4. He says he knew since he was 8 years old that he was going to marry me. He used to tickle my sides & annoy me! Later when I was 24 & he was 20, I was bartending at his family’s bar, & he’d give me rides to work, & drop my son off at my mom’s. We just started hanging out with each other and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memories as a couple came from the simplest times. We didn’t have a lot of money back then, I was a stay-at-home mom, but we had a lot of love. Friday nights meant trips to Blockbuster, Father & Son Pizza, chicken Dino bites, & dragging the mattress into the living room for movie night with the kids. Saturday nights were for the drive-in, loading everyone into the truck with blankets & watching double features under the stars. Those nights were full of love, laughter, & togetherness.
What would you do with $20,000?If we’re lucky enough to win the $20,000, we’d take our kids and grandkids to Hawaii. I’ve always dreamed of taking them to a luau and experiencing the magic of the islands together. It would mean the world to share that with the people I love the most!
