Alex and Crystal met in 2019 while staying at a mutual work acquaintances home. They moved in together in July of that year. They have faced being homeless together, taking care of each other every step of the way. Through sickness and health started almost the moment they met and continued when Alex was crushed in a work accident and diagnosed with CRPS for life. Crystal fights every day outside the home to earn a good living for them both, while Alex holds down the fort as best he can at home.

Literally almost everything. They are a true team. Watching them work together as stagehands was like watching a dream happen. No couple gets along as well as they do. It's almost unreal how much respect and care they take towards each other constantly. It surely would make other couples jealous how well Alex and Crystal get along.

Alex and Crystal would continue their dream to buy a home on some land. A place that is truly theirs, a place of peace, love, and unconditional understanding. Since he was a child Alex has never felt at home, until he met Crystal. His childhood being very abusive left him emotionally scarred, and now with CRPS affecting his every day, Crystal is his true Shieldmaiden, protecting him from the cruelty of a disabled life alone. She fights every day in this rat race, to secure they're dream.
