Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in college, thanks to a little help from fate—and his childhood best friend, who proudly played Cupid. It started when he saw me out at a club one night and decided he had to meet me. Not long after, he showed up on my campus to shoot his shot. He was so direct, confident, and genuinely sweet—it worked. Since then, we’ve walked down the aisle, traveled the world together, faced a health scare that that made us stronger, and built a beautiful life and a love story that just keeps growing

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is our very first date. I spent days with my roommate obsessing over what to wear, how to do my makeup, and perfecting my hair. Of course, the universe had other plans—it ended up being a torrential downpour. We got completely lost trying to find each other on campus, and by the time we finally met up, we were both drenched. But in that moment—soaked, nervous, and laughing—we just clicked. We still laugh about it to this day, and honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d love to use it for an unforgettable family vacation—creating even more memories together. Today, we’re proud parents to two beautiful daughters, and we try to model our love and partnership in hopes that one day, they’ll experience the same kind of connection. And honestly, how amazing would it be to add another special story to our journey?
