Told we wouldn't last 2 yrs, at 17 & 19 with a new born in 1982. Today, 2 son's and 10 grandchildren later, we celebrate 43 yrs May 30, 2025

My future mother in law hired me for a job July 3rd 1981, she introduced us. We had an instant connection and she got pregnant. I knew i needed to step up. Our 1st son was born at the same Air Force Base I was in 1965. Only because her father, who served, was a PA at the hospital, who asked us to wait to marry, so she could have the care she and our baby needed.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In almost 44 years to the day we met, there's not one favorite. Through this journey, we've faced good and tough times. I've served in the Army, our second son serves. Making and losing millions through betrayal, even living without a home. From our first grandchild to our miracle last grandchild the whole journey is filled with favorites. We've done more in this life together and we wouldn't change a thing. We love hard, make the bed every day together and say I love you before we sleep.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won, I'd like to fix up the first car we bought together. My wife? She'd give 10% to the church and charities. Help our kids, the homeless and people with special needs. She can stretch money like she does with food and maybe she'd let us spend some on us.
