We were young teenagers,15 & 16, who lived around the block from each other. We did NOT like each other, and one day we talked and realized how wrong we’d been. We started dating and loving each other and never stopped. We got married at 19 & 20, raised 4 children, went through hard times (layoffs and strikes) and just kept living and loving. We took care of our grandchildren so our grown children could work, took care of our parents and are now retired and hoping to achieve some of our dreams!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The births and the raising of our four children. We never had a lot of money, but we always found free things to do. Some days, it took all day just to get the kids dressed! We live an exciting, loving and crazy adventure with our children and grandchildren and we intend to keep doing it! Every day is a gift!!
What would you do with $20,000?We’d love to take a nice trip because we could never afford to. We’d love to get our home fixed up, just like we dreamed. Some new, good prescription glasses would be great! We would also help out someone, who needed it, because why not??
