I’m so lucky to have a partner that shares the same values I do. We work to care for each other and our community.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met each other going to the same undergrad and both sharing the love of music. We both play instruments and we’re in a lot of the same college bands. As cliché as this is the minute, I lay eyes on this man. I fell head over heels in love. It may have taken months for me to actually talk to him, but after that, we went out on a date and stayed up till 4 AM talking about everything. And now here we are all these years later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I love rocks and fossils. We planned a trip to go to Northern New York and spent the day digging in the dirt for cool rocks and it was a fun day together doing something unique and being in the moment and having fun. My spouse is my best friend and I think that what makes him amazing is that he supports me unconditionally and vice versa.
What would you do with $20,000?My husband is a neuroscience researcher and I’m a mental health counselor we graduated during a horrible time in the economy and I’ve been fighting our way back ever since. We would use the money to take a modest vacation pay down some debt and then use the remainder to help my husband get his first job as a primary investigator for Neuro immunology research. This has been his dream and anything that I can do to help make his and our dreams come true I will.
