How did your love story begin?

Our love story began at Edgewood High School on a stairway back in 1974. Ramon asked me on three different occasions if he could walk me home. My answer was "no" all three times. The fourth time, he asked "Why can't I walk you home". I answered, "I don't like the way you dress". The following day I couldn't believe my eyes. His words were "Now can I walk you home?" I couldn't go back on my word. This young boy did this for me without hesitation. I knew then, he was the one for me and I for him.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories was seeing Frankie Valli, live in San Antonio, Tx, 2024. It was an amazing time-travel evening hearing and singing the songs that became the anthem for us while dating in high school. As Ramon sang "My Eyes Adored You" I immediately felt his love wrap around my heart. I can honestly say our relationship as a couple defines the term "Stand the Test of Time". After everything has been said and done, what remains standing is our love for each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

What we would do is up-grade our present hobby greenhouse that is literary supporting the plastic panels with clear packing duct tape; to a top of the line model with running water, electricity, and heating. The frame structure made from cedar, and add work tables with some shelving. The greenhouse will serve our present gardening needs but also provide a learning environment for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren with life skills of responsibility and accountability.
