We have been together for 47 years and married for 44. We have been through a lot of ups and downs but our love has held fast.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met at a high school dance. We danced the night away and parted ways as the dance ended. I was chaperoned by my mom, which was a very common thing in 1978 Miami Cuban culture. He later asked my friend for my phone number and the rest is history!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I think our entire courtship was really very special as we met when I was 15 and he was 18 and spent the next 3 years (almost) going to dances, Quinces, even some all-age discos. Since I was chaperoned, and my mom was a fun mom, we spent many nights out dancing that culminated in watching beach sunrises on Miami Beach. When I was 18 and he was 21, we got married and finally got to ditch the fun chaperone😀.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably use it towards buying an acre somewhere in our area. We would love to downsize to a smaller house as we get closer to retirement.
