Connect How did your love story begin?

Soupy lasagna and identity theft. Davy hosted meals in New York City for lost artists. A friend of a friend invited her to come. Her night had begun with a credit card left in a bodega. Theirs began with undercooked lasagna. By the end of the night, she had landed a triple pirouette and both were only thinking of each other. On their first date, time stood still - but must have moved on without them, since the restaurant had to close. Beneath Union Square, they shared their first kiss.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We had it down to a science. Step one - avoid the classic Disney moment- don’t pick the first puppy to look you in the eyes. Step two - avoid the hyperactive or lethargic dog. Finally, step three - keep an eye out if anything seems off. But little did we know, the bundle of wrinkles had her own agenda. Step one - give the classic Disney look. Davy caved immediately, Rachel had to focus on the paperwork. We brought home a part of our hearts that day, and our pack grew to three.

Half to Davy’s fashion startup, one-fourth to providing women’s sanitary products to public spaces and one-fourth into our local community: Media, PA.
