Connect How did your love story begin?

Connor managed a rental shop in Honolulu, I’d regular at the bar across the street. Rachel conveniently started bartending at said bar with her friend. Funny enough, my buddy & I met Rachel’s best friend first, who my buddy had a big crush on. I heard about the friends roommate (Rachel), but didn’t meet her until about a week later. I still remember the first time I saw her. Ive never though love at first sight was real but we haven’t been apart since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On the island we would have “date days,” where we’d take turns planning it. They’d vary from a shopping trip where we’d dress eachother up fancy & get dinner, take a dog from the shelter out on a day trip, surf, karaoke & bowling, etc. Our favorite is probably when Rachel surprised me with glamping on Oahu’s north shore. It was on a secluded little farm, a huge white teepee style tent with white string lighting and a fire pit. Connor played “these arms of mine” and it became our song

What would you do with $20,000?

Definitely pay off our debts and then either adopt a dog or buy a motorcycle. I’d like to say donate the money but I’d rather be honest. Rachel is a travel nurse and Connor sells life insurance, so we do help people where we can already. Our plan is to work our buts off to get to where we can help people on our own. We appreciate the opportunity & are very excited to see where this takes us!
